Tonight we went out and saw the movie hackers.. it really glorified the life of hackers.. heck, if I can stay in my basement and lead as cool a life as that.. cool.. actually that wasn't the idea for a new career change.. after the movie we went and ate dinner at Chipotle and beteween laughing about bad movies and unidentified food dislodging itself from a crevise in my mouth and flying out mid conversation.. it was decided that I should go into business writing crossword puzzles. I think I could write the most difficult crossword puzzles ever. like 7 down a 8 letter word meaning to eat meat and vegetables. Omnavors. see. not only would you have to guess the word, but you would have to guess how I would spell it.. and to surprise you, I might spell something right.. a 4 letter word that is a kodiak... Beer. Anyway.. I should go to bed.. so, with out further adoo

Yesterday irish-girl posted on her website a link to a Personality disorder
test, I looked at it and am posting the results here. I am posting them to show the flaws in this test, I intentionally skewed the results. I am doing this to point out the errors in these tests. If you feel you have a disorder, see a professional.. if you think someone you love has a disorder, see a professional. Even if you think you are being honest with the answeres, when the test has an obvious right and wrong answere, are you truely being honest with your answer? With that said, here are my results.

tonights adventure was going to see the movie Spider. Michelle and I made plans to go and see spider.. we left home a little early to stop by our friendly neighborhood target store planning on spending the required $50 (I think that is the actual Targt Cover Charge) Anyway, we didn't find what we were looking for and we had lots of time, so we went to Old Navy, to pass some time and look for what we didn't find at Target. Well, we got poking around and found ourselves a little late to pick up Jack so, we picked him up thinking we still had time to make it to the movie.. we got into uptown, along with everybody else from the Twin Cities. No Parking later we decided that we would scrap going to see Spider and make our way to the Southdale theater where they were playing the piano.. we got there, we hadn't eaten dinner as we figured since we were seeing the 7:30 show of Spider we would have dinner afterwards.. Well, The Piano was playing at 8:30 so we got to the theater with time to spare.. and started doing some calculations in our heads. the movie has to be 3 horus long.. we wouldn't get out until 11:30, a little late for dinner, and both Michelle and I didn't feel like Popcorn for dinner.. so we decided to go to Kahns that was near the southdale theater.. had a really nice dinner and then decided that there weren't any movies we really wanted to see at Southdale so we drove up to Wynsong and saw Phone Booth.. it was a decent movie.. nothing overly spectacular.. but it was entertaining.. speaking of entertaining.. I took my television in to get it fixed today.. so it shouldn't be wandering around the neighborhood getting any other TV's pregnant. They said 1-2 weeks.. I will survive.. don't need TV.. now, take my computer away.. there will be blood comming from my eyes.. Anyway.. I think that about sums up the day and all..
Food Eaten: Khans.. what more can I say... my own concoction cooked by the finest chefs in the twin cities.. under the most extreme circumstances.. or something like that.. oh yes, and popcorn.. as many of you know, I can eat an endless suply of popcorn.
Music Listened to: Duo Tones, Cure, Fischerspooner, DAvid Bowie
Moral of the Day: Third Times a charm.. I think that sums it up best.
yup, I've reached blog entry #100.. so... do I have to make it special.. nah.. I was figureing I would write about renting a movie and watching it tonight.. but alas.. my brother called. then after the conversation.. went to start the movie and tv went black.. something died.. time to run to the TV repair shop.. and my favorite one is gone now.. no more sony repair shop.. and I don't feel like shipping it to chicago to get if fixed.. One thing I did want to mention today is on the radio this afternoon they were running a story about what kind of mental health help they are going to give returning soldiers.. They talked about what history has taught them and stuff like that.. anyway, this one caller called in.. a woman in San Francisco.. her son was reserve and got shipped to Iraq.. she was wondering how to find help for him as he had written a letter that had kind of scared her.. and I thought her words said alot about this war.. and our lack of understanding what happened, and how we will probably never know.. the mother was concerned because her son had written "I have pretty much gotten used to seeing all the dead bodies around me all the time, but I can't get used to the stench" That doesn't sound like the neat little surgical strike a couple of people wounded war that we are being led to believe we had.. this sounds like war, real war.. not TV war, people dead.. all over war.. and no human being should ever get used to wading through dead bodies..ever.. Anyway.. I just thought that was important.. and wanted to share, also, on my way into work today, I saw one of those cool 2 wheeled platform motorized things.. I can't remember what they are called but Jeremy, I know you know what I am talking about..
Food Eaten: Ricotta and Brocolli stuffed Monicoti.
Music Listend to: Fischerspooner, Front 242, Cure
Moral of the Day: when you think you will go home early, the phone will ring just before you walk out the door.
what can be done in 8 hours.. lots.. unless you are in a meeting all day.. it was a good meeting, it was a charming meeting, it was a hot meeting, it was a dry meeting.. hey, at least it was a dry heat.. no, really it was a good meeting at work today.. 8 hours.. I don't wan't to say much more then that.. but I did sit in an 8 hour meeting.. I know I haven't bean writing much.. someone who has bean looking here, and not posting comments commented that he misses my daily diet update.. he finds it fascinating.. its amazing what people fine facinating.. trackers find it interesting to pick up dung and rub it beteween their fingers give it that gentle sniff.. like sniffing a fine wine or brandy.. and then..realizing that the animal that left the dung.. had eaten giraffe meat 2 days earlier and was having an upset stomache.. then walk on.. and make dinner, with out any facilities to wash thier hands anywhere around.. is it my own germ paranoia or is it medical fact that after you handle animal dung, you shouldn't handle your food or other peoples food? anyway.. I think I see reading my blog like that.. it is like reading animal dung.. if you squish it beteween your fingers, you can tell what I had to eat.. and after you read it, please wash your hands.. you don't want to be a Dirty Steve
Music LIstened to: Nine Inch Nails Pretty Hate Machine Hey, I was in a meeting for 8 hours..
Food Eaten: Grilled vegetables on rice.. for lunch.. veggie burgers at the Times.
MOral of the day: hmmm this one had better be good. If at first you don't succeed.. have an 8 hour meeting to talk about it.. that always makes things better.
This site was e-mailed to me, I figured I'd share it with all of you.. be sure to check out the slide show.. actually the best way to go through the site.. Propoganda Posters Have fun
yes, it has bean too long since my last entry swearing I wasn't going to let it get to far out of control before I wrote again.. well, I did.. anyway..
Friday Night
went and Saw A Mighty Wind.. I want to see it again in a less crowded situation.. I have a feeling there was stuff I missed.. those movies I find are like that.. there was some great stuff in the movie, I won't give it away, except that really funny part when....just kidding.. anyway.. I thought it could have bean more then it was, and I'll tell you where I thought it was lacking was in the Music.. I would have liked more Music.. more of that part of the story.. It felt like it could have used at least 2 or 3 more songs.. and Mitch and Mickey only had 1 song in the movie, and they were the superstars.. they should have had another song for Sure.. that said, I did enjoy it.
Saturday nights
Fischerspooner concert.. how to describe a concert that I totally enjoyed that wasn't really a concert. IT was so totally Lipsynced that I actually laughted at the beginning of the first song when the 2 female "Singers" came out with hend held microphones with out Mic cables.. The lead Singer he had a Wireless Microphone, except it wasn't turned on.. they came out later and turned it on for one song.. but it was so quiet in the mix it didnt' matter if it was on or not. Now, you ask, how can that be entertaining.. they totally admitted that they were faking it.. When the lead singer was talking beteween songs and the next song started playing.. he had to stop his little banter and stop the Audio guy since he was playing the wrong track.. They played their "Hit" song Emerge 3 times.. the third time for their final grand finale.. the crowd was going crazy.. it was really fun.. It was a show with Costume changes, generally on Stage, Choreography, and fake blood.. heck, if the music wasn't so poppy I would have thought it was Gwar Well, not that much blood.. only a mouthful. Anyway.. a great time was had by all, but the Qwest once again advertised a 7pm show which started at 10.. so again, 2 hours of waiting for a 1 hour concert, they only have so much music...
Sunday
This is what Sunday was intended to be.. not getting out of Pajamas until 5pm to take the dog for a walk.. then to the video store to rent movies home eat dinner and get back in pajamas.. I had a very relaxing day, I didn't do anything.. ended up renting Blue Crush and Mr. Deeds.. both movies were exactly what I thought.. I would have though Blue crush would have bean worse then it was, but I had heard good things about it. Happy Easter EVerybody.. by the way, how do they come up with when easter is.. sometimes its in March, this year almost the end of April.. next year I think it is in June.. I have no Idea. And why don't we get it off work, and before you tell me some story about seperatin of Church and State. how come the Post office is closed and all othe government agencies..hmmm... Just a thought. oh yes, I we got some new fish.
Music Listened to: Fischerspooner (Duh), Underworld, Jesus and Mary Chain, Charlatans UK, David J, Male or Female (which reminds me.. new Front 242 next month, I think I might wet myself), Black REbel Motorcycle Club, Duran Duran. thats all I remember, I know I listened alot.
Food EAten: Saw Wa Di Friday, food was ok.. too lemony, guy behind us complained when offered another dish and the oppertunity to speak to management, said "no, I am going to keep eating this and I'm going to keep complaining." I thought.. hmmm you know.. I have never bean infatuated with Saw Wa Di I find it just a shade better then OK, abut convient since they closed Had Burger out on the Grill Sunday, mmm easter dinner Grilling burgers with salad and chips.. wow.. but super lazy going with the theme of the day.. today it was that great Canadian Staple.. KD or Kraft Dinner as it is known.. which by the way I discovered is actually a Canadian dish.. I learned the story of it.. see, Kraft had invented this cheese powder and were trying to sell it in the northern parts of Canada.. Well, the Locals were perplexed with what to do with Cheese Powder so the guy who was charged with selling it got the great idea to package it with Macaroni noodles and called it Kraft Dinner, you call it mac and cheese.. so I consider it a Canadian Epicurean Delicasy.. So there you have it. I think a pretty good blog.. you can argue that one.. but it was informative, entertaining at least to me.. and overall a worthwhile write.. I am going to skip my moral as I feel the Mac and Cheese story kind of covers the Moral part.
OK.. so I havn't written in like forever.. well.. 3 nights.. I havn't had the inspiration.. I havn't had the burning desire.. fortunetly I havn't had any other burning or itching either.. so that is a good thing. But I can say that I am sill around.. and my life is still about as exciting as what I had for dinner.. I am going to go and See Fischerspooner on Saturday night, It should be a great show, I was watching the free, yes, I said free DVD that came with the CD and they had brief clips of the show.. if the show they put on on Saturday is anything like this, it is going to be crazy fun. I can't wait.. it will be fun to get some excitement into my life like that, I am really starting to crave playing music again.. I have to get playing. it is driving me nuts. Anyway.. I have said enough and I can't say no more.. so with this brief entry I will conclued by telling you my boring stats for the day
Music Listened to: Fischerspooner, Creatures, Ministry.
Food Eaten: Roasted Pepper Soup, Grilled Cheese with Avacado, Salad
MOral of the day: When you need to replace something, the extra parts you have left over from the old whatever won't work. so you have to buy all the extras too in order to make it useful.
This weekend went by so incredibly quickly.. I did finally see A clockwork Orange finally.. only took me 30 years.. I really enjoyed it.. I found it so inspiring.. ok.. not really, but I figured that would raise an eye or two.. I thought it was a very cool movie.. there were parts that I could totally see inspiring other movies. There is a scene in the beginning of the movie where they are in a car driving.. reminded me alot of Natural Born Killers.... I thought it was a very cool movie, and the transfer was awsome.. I can't beleive 2001 doesn't have a good transfer like this.. anyway.. I also managed to get my windows washed today, first time since I baught the house.. well, not really, first time i have done it.. they used to get washed by my old cleaning person.. she would do them once a year.. then she moved away, and I lost my window washer, and then they started the construction on the Highway and were kicking up tons of dirt.. so that was pointless to run then, so here we are today.. washing windows.. I can see outside again.. YAY.. big exciting day today.. window washing, dog walking.. and some great quality time spent on the porch, playing Dominos and reading.. Grilled tonight again.. a pleasure now that we can again..

first, Jack asked me the other day, what was up with the title number 90... I couldn't remember but I knew I repeated it becasue of the beatles song, but creating a new entry today reminded me, it was my blog entry number 90 as I slowly make my way to entry number 100, this is number 93 if you are interested. Jeremy loved my spelling of Angst, or Anx as I like to put it for a slight Heavy metal spelling. I want my death metal band to be called Anx. Now as for the friday night thing, since none of my friends are man enough to write it.. I think they are scared of retribution Jack, Jeremy, Michelle and I went out to.. We pulled up to Jeremys house where we discovered that Millions of worms are moving the leaves.. which was a pretty cool thought, just think, if you were dead and lying there, they would be moving you too.. anyway.. then we went out.. Jeremy kidnapped his girlfriends car and we drove with the top down.. which was nice, I now have to get my car out.. anyway.. had dinner and saw Anger management.. I was threatening to enter a post about how Jeremy wanted to go to the Gay bars, and crashed the car, but I won't do that.. because it didn't happen.. and I am not feeling crafty enough for that today.. anyway.. Yesterday I fixed my parents computer which was an all afternoon event.. not because there was really anything wrong.. just the explaining part took a very long time.. but I did go rollerblading yesterday afternoon.. which was good, I havn't bean in 2 years.. so that felt good, but I did have funny rollerblade legs when I was done..
Food Eaten: Poblano Pepper Quedidillas
Music Listened to: Sisters of Mercy, Orgy.
Moral of the day: avoid puddles in public restrooms when wearing only your socks on your feet.
I was stretching for a title to todays blog and figured that would work, inspiration comes from wonderful places... maybe make you think.. I have bean bad about entering in my daily blog.. I have to try to get better, I have bean un-inspired lately.. I have to get back to writing something creative or remotely so... it could be argued that what I have bean writing isnt' very creative.. and I could see the point.. Work is continueing to stress me out, and if I write more, I could get myself in trouble so I will stop there, I am sure that is where alot of my creative energy is seeping to.. nothing like stress to sap your creativity, unless you are going to write metal music, be the next rob zombie and write anx ridden job songs.. you could be a cross beteween John Melloncamp and Rob Zombie... by the way, the end of this month is Willy Nelsons birthday.. just thought you might wish to wish him a happy birthday, he will be 70.. were did the years go.. I remember him when he was mearly 60 and seemed old then.. anyway, I suppose I should go to bed instead of rambling about things I know nothing about.. especially anx ridden country death metal. a little Reba with out a cause.. ok, I'm getting punny, I have to stop..I did have a nice drive to Metro Sound and light today to pick up some equipment, made me want to start making music again.. got to get a new home for my studio.. got to get a new mac.
time for the daily diet
Food eaten: Left over home made pasta and sacue from the other night (and yes, the pasta was not from a box, I made it)
Music LIstened to: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Praga Khan
Moral of the Day: Often times you are surprised by the actions of those aruond you, sometimes it is a delicate gesture by someone you thought incapable and sometimes it is an atrocoty by those you love.
Take me dancing tonight... sorry, Michelle had Wham on earlier.. you know, the funny part of that video is george Michael wearing hot pants.. and people were shocked when he came out. I heard a great April fools gag today, an aquentence got a friend who was pregnant to take a pregnancey test so it was positive, then she gave it to her boyfriend... didn't tell him all day.. thats a good joke.. well, fortunetly the relationship survived it, but it was pretty hard core.. anyway.. I should really make like I am writing something interesting in here, because lets face it, this site has become more of a journal then anything more intersting then the ramblings of my life which lets face it, when the most interesting thing I can write about myself is what I had for dinner.. although I think it is pretty funny to read.. and you know, I never go back and read past entries, maybe in a year when i have bean writing for a year, but now.. naa. I wonder if you can minipulate Movable type to show your entry from a year ago, or 2 years ago, if you have bean writing that long.. so you can compare.. have a column that has your post from a year earlier.. that could be intersting.. I'm sure you can do it, if jeremy is right, you can do anything with movable type.. I think he has movable type running his finances and I think he has wired it up to his kitchen and has it making his breakfast for him like some automated Nutty Professor flubber machine. Anyway.. I think I have written enough tonight, so I will switch to the really interesting stuff.
Music Listened to: Sisters of Mercy, Black Rebel Motorcycle club, And One, Underworld.

MOral of the day: when posting pictures, it is best to proof them for content before posting the whole collection.. you don't know who you will insult.
With a sad heart I write that MInneapolis lost a landmark today.. well, it would have bean a landmark if it had bean open for 75-100 years, but alas, it was a landmark for me.. As I pulled out of the parking lot after visiting the comic book store and getting the new Ultimate X-men and the New Daredevil comic books, I noticed the lonely glass storefront windew covered in newspaper, the neon Open sign dark, nor forever until someone removes it to pack it into a moving truck to send it to Florida.. for those of you who don't kow what I am talking about, those that havn't partaken in a Friday night chatathon at the home of the best sweet and sour sauce in Minneapolis, the Thai Express restraunt appears to be closed. I was thinking what of this restraunt will I miss, well, the first thing that stood out from that restraunt the very first time I went on a reccomendation from the Comic Book Store owner was the incredibly friendly service.. Linda was always our waitress, she was always friendly and pleasant and knew us all. Knew what dishes we prefered and always made the evening a touch nicer, I will miss the way they knew that I liked my food really spicey and that I was a vegetarian and had Tofu instead of Chicken. They had this amazing sweet and sour sauce, if you can call it that, it came with the fried eggrolls, it was an orange based sauce with bits of orange in the sauce, I will also miss the coconut jello that they brought out for desert, and I will miss having a good restraunt just a mile from my house. So with a sad heart I say, farewell to the people of Thai express and I wish them well in their new life in florida.

another mostly blog free evening.. not much to add to my blog today, but i did want to write becasue if I don't write, then I'm not writing and with out writing I would only be talking, and since I am sitting downstairs alone, then i would be talking to myself and thats like dancing with myself, and then its a nice day for a white wedding.. and the next thing you know I'm sneering and it 1986 all over again, and I'm still waiting for my voice to change..and then I would make change, do you have a dollar for 50 cents I have to catch a bus and I have no money..
Music listened to today: Thrill Kill Kult, Fischerspooner, DAvid Bowie, Underworld.
Food Eaten: Chana Masala (sorry Jeremy, did it again) this time made it at home with Roti and Papadums with Mango keylime chutney.
MOral of the day: If you arn't going to get a new computer at work anytime soon.. throw a tempertantrum.. it still won't work.
I need a digital camera, its true, today I would have shot at this shopping mall I was at in Kalamazoo.. I don't know what the mall was, I would guess at its peak it had to have like 50 stores in it.. only 10 open.. it was completely abanded. you wouldn't beleive it.. I wish I had a digital camera to take a picture...my trip was a good one.. Kalamazoo wasn't so bad to drive around, I hate driving in strange towns, one of my pet peeves.. but I did well, I did have a huuuuuge car, I think I got the super extra delux upgrade.. I had a buik.. it was huge... my trip home was beautiful, another reason I need a camera.. I was on a small jet it was flying lower maybe around 18,000 feet, there were no clouds, there was a light glow along the horizon of the sun setting, and I got a great view of Minneapolis.. it was pretty fun..
Music listened to: none, i was traveling
food eaten: veggie smoked sausage and KD
Moral of the day: flying in a jet was fun.
