I just wanted to add a post saying that my wife and I are doing Cloth Diapers, when we first mentioned it to our friends they all rolled their eyes. My wife did research and we ended up going with Kissaluvs and to be honest with you I prefer them to Disposable, cleaning them isn't so bad there is a great recipe for washing diapers at Peapods which is a great place for natural childrens stuff. The reason I prefer them is I know what snaps to use, I can put a diaper on my child very quickly and I'm not messing around with that funny tape stuff that gets stuck to his leg and then doesn't stick very well after being place too tightly or loosly on the baby, I get a perfect fit every time. Plus the Diapers have a lifetime warentey against defects and broken snaps, we had to have 2 diapers repaired and they were promptly returned to us along with some wonderful baby wipes.
so, its almost a week past thanksgiving, November is almost through and I am feeling the pressure to add another post to my blog, I know I havn't bean good at posting, but I do have a new baby at home and I did reciently move to a new house so my whole routine is in tourmoil, of course I wasn't blogging much before that, but hey, any good excuse in a storm. I am thinking of starting another blog dedicated to food, I just have to figure out how to do that, my thought is when I make a good recipe then I will post it that way I have access to it when I am out of town visiting family and trying to think of what to make, just a thought though. Heck, maybe some of my friends will want to contribute as well, this could be cool our own little recipe club or some such. anyway, I called this entry Turkeys because I realized the other day as I was watching the "President" do the Annual Pardoning of a Turkey, it struck me that every year it gets great publicity and then that turkey heads off, no one ever follows it to watch it gracefully pass into old age etc, and then generally a week later the president and family and friends sit down for a turkey feast. It doesn't seem right to me that after the president makes a show of sparring a turkeys life that he should eat turkey a week later. I watched the movies House of Sand and Fog, I highly reccomend it. OK, I think I have filled my quota for the day Hard to believe my blog has bean up for almost 2 years now.
