Bowie

Wow, can you beleive it, I certainly can't, 2 entries in like a week I'm not sure, but I think the world is freezing over, I know the east coast is, while we wallow in unseasonably warm weather and no snow.. The thing with the global warming that creaps me out is that like a billion years ago give or take a day (don't quote me on that) 90% of the species on earth were wiped out and it wasn't a big climate change.. it was 10˚ C and that was all it took, the really creapy thing is, archeologists were trying to figure out how the temperature changed so much, and they discovered that there is all this frozen methane on the bottom of the oceans, and when the oceans warmed just a couple of degrees this methane came exploding to the surface, and caused a huge change in climate.. I fear every day that that methane is going to thaw and then we are doomed.. Ok, enough with the light conversation on To the Heavy stuff,

On Sunday I went to Target center and saw David Bowie, He was awsomely Amazing. I thought it was funny, I read the Star Tribune review and they started off talking about how every other tour has bean such a huge production and all, all I can comment on is seeing him Sunday and seeing him back in 1997, Neither show was a huge production and the show last sunday was by far a much bigger production.. That aside, I hope I look that good when I am 60, I know he's only 57 but still thats almost 60.. either way, I know that won't happen, I don't think I look that good now... anyway, back to the music, Macy Gray opened the concert and put on what I thought was a solid performance, I was a little dis-interested, but enjoyed her set, I thought it was interesting how she blended so many things together into one song/medly sort of thing, That she really didn't play any of her songs, but sort of hinted at them was what I thought made it most interesting, and I couldn't help but stare at her Giant Hair. After that, David Bowie took the stage. He opened with Rebel Rebel and played a wonderful mix of old and new and Eclectic and popular, It looked like he was truely enjoying himself on stage and it was obvious that that band and he have a good repore, the way they were able to shake things up and when David Bowie decided to add a song at the last minute they were able to just jump in and play it was wonderful, he had some fun banter with the crowd pointing out a person wearing a furry winter hat in the front row and a woman in a short mini skirt way up in the back row of the side bleachers.. my only dissapointment was the crowd around where I was sitting were so not into it, I knew I was doomed when the woman in front of me that came in with the fur coat and very banker looking husband and friends, then the kids next to me that their parents brought obviously to give them a cultural expierence and they really dind't want to be there either, at least that was what I took from it..too bad, at some point they will realize how cool it was that they saw bowie.. thats how I felt

Anyway, I'm writing a Jack length entry so I will stop there.
