Cafe Brenda

last night Michelle and I decided to make Shepards pie for dinner, and I thought hey, there is a Shephards pie recipe in oru brand spanking new Cafe Brenda cook book that my friends Jeremy and Meghan got me for christmas.. I looked up the recipe just to get some ideas and thought hey, we have everything to make this recipe and it was quite delicious. I realized that I should post a blog about Cafe Brenda since it is a fine Minneapolis restraunt and I recommend it for any who wish to try wonderful Vegetarian cuisine. Now that I have said that, I want to put a plea out on the internet that if anyone has connections to the people who owned the Mud Pie Restraunt in Minneapolis to get my plea to them to put out a cook book. I loved the food at the resteraunt and completely respect that when they decided to retire that they closed the doors rather then sell it to someone who would then turn it into an applebees. But I really miss the food and wish I could at least make some of it at home, so Please Please Pleast put out a cook book.

Food Eaten: Shepards Pie
Music Listend to: U2, Depeche Mode
Moral of the day: when you get use to wicked good Lentel Soup the restraunt will close before you try the Ministroni.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I want to wish everyone a happy new year, I hope all yours was as wonderful as mine was. actually I hope all your holidays were as great as mine. My Christmas was celebrated with my newly expanded family, Logan was too small to enjoy the day being only 3 months old, but you could tell he was looking for Santa. My New Years couldn't have bean much more pleasant, on Dec. 31 My wife and I made dinner consisting of home made Herbed Linguini and a garlic cream sauce..yummy, we then had a chocolate fondu for desert. on the Morning of the 1st we went to friends house for their second annual Nerd Years Brunch and I have to say that Nerd Year v.2.0 was even better then the original. We went to their house and enjoyed a wonderful brunch with friends and then games broke out and that melded into going to a movie, we saw "Life Aquatic" I enjoyed it alot although I found it really awkward to be seeing a movie without my wife who urged me to go while she stayed home with Logan. Her presence was definately missed. The movie expanded into dinner and Nerd Years day ended up being a full 12 hours long. I can't thank my friends enough for a wonderful day.

Music Listend to: Ballywood hits, Beathovens 9th
