Chicago Hotel

I'm in Chicago tonight, at the Hyatt Regency, it is a very nice hotel, I feel so much like a 1960 bachelor with my Bachelor pad. The room is very groovy with ultra-modern scandenevian designed furnature and multi colored wood panneling over the bed. it is quite nice... when ever I go out on the road, I always wish I had a digital camera so I can share stuff out here, tonight the thing I would love to share is I was on the phone and opened the drawer below the phone, saw the bible of course.. I think its funny that for a country that seperates church and state that every hotel room has a bible.. I wonder if the hotels would carry a Koran in all the drawers if we provided them.. just a thought.. but where I was going with that was that Next to the bible was an ashtrey, no biggie you say, but in the ash tray, was a round card that fit nicely in the ashtray and said this is a no smoking room. wouldn't it be better to just get rid of the ashtray? I just laughed.

Music Listened to: I'm on the road, nothing.. but everywhere I go they seem to be playing country music.. I dind't realize Chicago was a big country music place.

Food Eaten: Mussiman Curry at Star of Siam Restraunt.. it was fair, I don't really reccomend it.. the service was really good and the decor was nice, but the food was just alright, and the menu a bit limited..

Moral of the Day: When the room you are spending the day in is 85 degrees, no amount of Deoderant will be able to keep the stink out.

No Renee, but there were an awful lot so saturation of Playboy there.. I don't know how else to describe it.. everywhere I turned there was another story about playboy or something..while turning on the TV in the hotel room, I saw 2 seperate stories about playboy, one an autobiography on heffner, the other a fluff news piece going through the playboy mansion, followed by a discussion beteween the male and female news anchor about who was the most famous model ever for Playboy, they couldn't decide if it was Pamela Anderson or chicagos very own, Jenny McCarthey... I scratched my head thinking Marilyn Monroe was more famous.. but I'm just a silly bumpkin from the sticks..
