Meditation

Ok, Michelle and I were talking the other day and she was telling me of this meditation technique where you relax and visualize something.. so I figured, what a great writing exercise to write something for people to meditate to and visualize.. of course it would work better if I made this an audio tape, then you the reader could close your eyes and meditate, and you wouldn't be confused with my spelling. but you can still let your mind wander as you read these words..

focus on your breathing, feel it gently moving in and out of your nose feel the air swirling as it works its way down your throat into your lungs, feel the coolness of the air as it fills your lungs and as you exhale feel the warmth of the air on you nostrals.. feel your mind following the air as it dissapates into the room.. feel yourself floating in the room.. as the air currents move you gently around the room.. now feel yourself sucked through a crack in the windowpane.. now you are outside, floating.. the sun is warming you, the moisture that was in your body is now getting lighter and you are drifting up into the sky.. you start to form wtih a cloud.. feel the cool dampness of the water vapor on your face as you slowly merge with the water.. now feel your body getting heavier and now you are a raindrop falling back to the earth.. gently landing in the water.. now feel yourself floatin in the ocean.. your body merging with the waves.. slowly you sink into the water.. you feel the cold salty water filling your lungs.. choking you.. drowning you.. now you slowly land on the bottom of the ocean.. the fish start eating your skin, bits of your flesh are now hanging off your body, as other fish come and eat the flakes of skin as they slowly work their way off your muscles. Until you are only exposed skeleton, you feel the sting of your bones exposed like a tooth sensitive to cold. now, a hundred years have passed, divers discover your remains, you are taken to the surface, you are back on land.. the rain is falling gently on you filling the spaces beteween your ribs.. joining you back to earth and the rest of your flesh.

ok.. that was my meditation practice for today.. hope you enjoyed it..
