well, I am making another entry which is good, only like my 4th one this month, but going down the grand canyon for 1.5 weeks so I have an excuse for not writing then. So now I will bore you with the details of my weekend. This weekend we dog sat on Friday night and Saturday, which was a good thing to see how Akira would handle having another dog in the house, having another dog in the house really made me realize how lucky I am to have the dog I do. We babysat for a dog named Tigger, Tigger is a Bichon and is full of energy, I don't think he was ready for the mellow life at our house this weekend, still recovering from the Grand Canyon trip, poor sleep for a week will do that to you. Anyway, Tigger is used to havign a 5 year old running around, so I am sure that was a bit of a shock. Tigger has never bean away from his house in his 3 years of life so I think he was nervous and he decided that it was important for him to Mark my furnature, I wan't very pleased with this behavior, I'm sure if we were to keep him for a few days he would learn to ask to go out, I was told he was house broken, I think he was mostly trying to figure out his place, Akira is top dog, and knew it, Tigger would do something Akira didn't like and he would do this great Elvis Billy Idol lip thing and Tigger would run off elsewhere. Saturday night made FAjitas which was nice, after a week of VEggie burgers on the river, it was nice to make fajitas and relax on the poarch, although I do miss the no biting insects in the desert thing. Saturday night we went and saw Pirates of the Caribean. I thought it was a good movie althoguh I am scared as it now looks like Disney is trying to bring new life to old rides by turning them into movies. A trailer for a movie on the Haunted Mansion, whats that about. Next it will be a Movie on Its a small world or Space Mountain, or heaven forbid that ride where you see a family through time and how they live in different decades, sorry I can't remembe the name of it, its in tomorrow land, it is a circular ride. Anyway, today took it easy mowed the lawn, had to fix my lawn mower, the link cable that engages the autodrive feature of my mower broke, and I couldn't find the replacement part in the manual to order a new one, I'll have to go to sears to figure it out, but I was able to fix it with some Aircraft cable and some clamps It should last for years, but I will go and order the part. Anyway not much else to report from here, back to you at mission control.
