the gentle art of aging

Well, I have realized in the last couple of days.. well, actually longer then that, but a phone conversation last night really made it hit home that I am not aging well. well, actually I think I am, but one of my friends was saying that he is graying.. I have managed to miss most of that, except my beard is kind of grey, but that aside.. the beauty of greying is that you can always die it.. and if you are like me.. Purple and Blue come to mind.. but alas, my hair is dark and I can't just go to the store and buy purple hair die and have anyone even notice that it is died, and I'm not really greying yet.. but I do have these wonderful sprouts of hair comming out of my ears, and not just sprouts of hair, I'm talking about shrubbery.. with a couple of rubberbands and a few months time I am sure I could get them into dread loks. mmmmmm. nothing is more appealing on a man then dreadloks comming out of his ear, do you think anybody would think I was cool... once I get those in place, I can start my nose hair dreds.. I can get some moustache wax and put little curlie cues in my nose hair dreds.. now that will impress them.. Flock of Seagulls, look out, your hair has nothing on my ears.. I can shave all the hair off my head.. with a little work I could get a unibrow.. I could look like Bert.. I could go for that tuft of hair, but I am balding on top.. actually I'm not going bald, my hair is just so massive that it is pusihg into my head and comming out my nose and ears.. it has no where else to go, the rest of my head is full of brain.. well, I'd like to think so.. probably just full of hair.

Moral of the day: When hair starts sprouting where it shouldn't, try to come up with a way to embrace it.
